Killashee has won the ‘Hotel Wedding Venue of the Year Leinster’ at the second annual Weddingsupplies.ie Industry Awards, which took place at Killashee Hotel, County Kildare on Tuesday 6th February. Over 500 business and individuals representing a cross section of sectors supplying professional wedding services from across the country gathered for the event. Special guests on the evening included mentalist Keith Barry who joined singers Mundy and Mickey Joe Harte.
Set on a 55-acre estate of woodlands and manicured gardens located 30 minutes from Dublin, Killashee presents the perfect location for weddings and union celebrations of all sizes. Hosting only one wedding exclusively each day, there is a choice of either the elegant Original House or the beautiful Thomson, Lockewood and Rathaskar suites combined with the special bespoke ceremony suites.
Killashee presents the perfect balance for either the classically romantic or contemporary wedding ranging from 40 to 250 guests. The stunning gardens and grounds provide the perfect back for photography. Killashee also has its very own traditional Irish Pub ‘The Snug’ that is available for pre and post wedding celebrations. This 141-bedroom hotel has 25 uniquely decorated bedroom suites, one of which is offered to the bridal party on a complimentary basis. There are also 12 classic suites in the Original House which are currently being refurbished. There is also the award-winning spa and leisure centre at the hotel to relax and unwind ahead of the big day.
