Cucumber Martini
WHAT YOU NEED
- 50ml sugar syrup
- 10 thin slices cucumber, plus 4 ribbons sliced for garnish
- Large bunch of mint leaves- stems removed
- 1 tbsp dry vermouth
- 150ml of Gin
DIRECTIONS
- Chill your martini glasses.
- Put all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker or jug (except the cucumber ribbons), along with a handful of ice. Shake or mix well to combine, then strain the liquid into the glasses.
- Garnish with the cucumber ribbons on a cocktail stick.
Sex on the Beach
WHAT YOU NEED
Ice
1 1/2 oz. vodka
1 oz. peach schnapps
2 oz. orange juice
2 oz. cranberry juice
Orange wedge, for garnish
DIRECTIONS
- Fill a glass with ice and add vodka, peach schnapps, and orange juice. Pour cranberry juice over.
- Garnish with an orange wedge to serve.
Strawberry Daiquiri
WHAT YOU NEED
- 500g strawberries
- 200g Ice
- 100ml Rum
- 1/2 Lime
DIRECTIONS
- Blend the strawberries then push the resulting puree through a sieve to remove some of the seeds. Tip the sieved puree into the blender again and add the ice, rum and lime juice. Blend again and divide the mixture between 2 Martini glasses.
- Garnish with a slice of lime & serve immediately.
Whiskey Sour
WHAT YOU NEED
- 2 oz Bourbon
- 3/4 oz Fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 oz Simple Syrup
- 1/2 oz Egg white (optional)
- Garnish: Angostura bitters
DIRECTIONS
- Add all ingredients into a shaker with ice and shake.
- Strain into your glass
- Garnish with dashes of Angostura bitters.
Mojito
WHAT YOU NEED
- 1 tsp granulated sugar
- 1 Lime
- Small handful mint leaves, plus extra to serve
- 60ml white rum
- Soda Water
DIRECTIONS
- Muddle the lime juice, sugar and mint leaves in a small jug, crushing the mint as you go – you can use the end of a rolling pin for this. Pour into a tall glass and add a handful of ice.
- Pour over the rum, stirring with a long-handled spoon. Top up with soda water, garnish with mint and serve.
